Dear Athletes, Coaches, Parents and Friends
There is an overwhelming amount of training information for almost every athletic sport that we can participate in. You don't have to travel far or dig deep into the research to locate what you are looking for. Everywhere you look there are “guru's” providing sport specific camps, speed and agility training and professional athletes endorsing “neon green gadgets” to take you to the next level!
This greatly saddens and frustrates me. Lost amongst the parachutes, bands, weighted sleds and jumping shoes is also the patience and respect for the process involved in true athletic development. The “quick-fix” solution that pollutes the late night infomercials has invaded the sporting world and it is deteriorating the very fabric of performance training. Despite what these “guru's” attempt to “sell” you or proclaim, there are no hidden secrets or special pieces of equipment that will launch your athleticism to the elite-level.
Our philosophy is rooted in human movement, and movement transcends all sports!
We understand that the human body is made up of a complex matrix of systems and the importance of no separation of these systems during training.
We are focused on the development of the complete athlete and this takes an holistic approach. Our training encompasses all variables of sports performance that revolve around the primal fundamental movement patterns. Regardless of your sport there are commonalities in movement patters.
Our programming looks at the “big picture”. We look at long-term development and the proper structure of the athletic foundation. We place a heavy emphasis on the proper biomechanics while being mindful of the physiological demands of your sport.
It's a journey that takes patience, time and should truly be enjoyed. To reach our top potential we must start at the beginning and establish the base that we will build on!
So, please don't hook yourself up to some parachute!
Contact us and see how we can help!
